Role Overview
As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom Shopify stores that are visually engaging, user-friendly, and optimized for conversions. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to bring our clients’ e-commerce visions to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes and templates (Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

• Implement new features, sections, and integrations to enhance store functionality.

• Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX wireframes into responsive, high-quality Shopify storefronts.

• Optimise site performance for speed, SEO, and mobile usability.

• Configure Shopify apps and third-party integrations to extend functionality.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues on live stores.

• Stay up-to-date with Shopify updates, best practices, and e-commerce trends.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.

• Experience customizing Shopify themes and building from scratch.

• Familiarity with Shopify APIs and third-party app integrations.

• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.

• Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Shopify Plus.

• Knowledge of additional frameworks or CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, headless e-commerce).

• Familiarity with tools like Git, Figma, or Adobe XD.
